How to Apply Pocket Salon One Step Gel

Step 1: Prepare Your Nails

• Wash and dry your hands.
• Gently push back your cuticles.
• Lightly buff the natural nail surface to remove shine.
• Clean the nail with an alcohol wipe or suitable nail cleanser to remove oil and dust.

Proper nail preparation helps achieve an even application and longer-lasting wear.

Step 2: Apply the Gel

Apply a thin, even coat of Pocket Salon One Step Gel.

Avoid contact with your skin and cuticles.

Tip: Apply thin coats for an even finish and proper UV/LED lamp exposure.

Step 3: Place Under a UV/LED Lamp

Place your nails under a compatible UV/LED nail lamp.

• Light and medium shades: 60 seconds.
• Dark or highly pigmented shades: 90 seconds.

Follow the recommended product and lamp instructions. Apply thin coats and expose each coat separately.

Step 4: Apply a Second Coat

For richer colour and more even coverage, apply a second thin coat.

Repeat the UV/LED lamp process:

• Light and medium shades: 60 seconds.
• Dark or highly pigmented shades: 90 seconds.

Step 5: Complete Your Manicure

Your manicure is ready!

No separate primer, base coat or top coat is required. An additional top coat can be applied if desired, provided it is compatible with the product.

How to Remove Your One Step Gel

For removal, do not peel, pick or force the gel off.

Method 1: Gel Remover Wraps

1. Buff: Gently file the surface of the gel to remove its shine.
2. Wrap: Place the remover pad onto the nail and secure the wrap around your fingertip.
3. Soak: Leave on for 10–15 minutes, following the remover manufacturer's instructions.
4. Remove: Gently push away softened product with a suitable cuticle stick or cuticle pusher. Do not force removal if the product has not softened sufficiently.

After removal, apply cuticle oil as part of your nail care routine.

1. File: Carefully file away the gel using a suitable 150/180 grit nail file.
2. Finish: Use a softer buffer as you approach the natural nail surface.
